bump, I'm wondering too.
A long while back, I was given mine ( before a move) I tore 'em up.
Do I exist?
so i moved to another hall to better help me fade.
so far it's been great although it is a very long and annoying process!
so i'm very good friends with the coordinating elder in the new hall since we've known each other for years and so instead of mailing them to the other hall he decided to pass them on to my dad so he could give them to me and for me to give them to the other hall.

so weary i was from a walk in the woods .
that i lay to rest at the foot of an alder tree,.
finding sweet repose on a cool nest of leaves.. .
The young pianist ran. He ran from the father who boxed his ears, late , after a night of drinking.
He ran until he could not move. Looking up, looking down , he saw the reflection of the night stars in the pond around his figure.
Gracefully, he walked into the water. He layed down in the shallows, hands out stretched out like a sacrafice.
Becoming one with the reflexions.
i have some!
just ron has put up christmas lights on our front porch!
.
WTWizard, master of lighting, has the lowdown on Christmas Lights. Maybe he will post the links.
have you ever read "no blade of grass," "on the beach" or "the satan-bug?
" i have a feeling it wouldn't hurt to reread those old novels.. folks around here argue about gmo foods, for instance, without realizing that one of the main problems with gmo is lack of diversity, dangerous if a disease comes along that kills the main crops of the world.. and people seem to have forgotten that humans could indeed destroy themselves completely, if someone starts a nuclear war.
they always seem to think there could be survivors of an all-out nuclear war.
Greetings Hortensia. I have'nt read these books.
I keep a mini moleskine in my purse, for when I'm at the used book store downtown. I'll add them to my ever growing list.
Did you see the TV movie The Day After? It was about a nucler attack. It's old too, but it has haunted me ever since.
I'l check out Fail Safe on netflix . Thanks CoCo ala polka dot tie...;-)
a study was recently conducted with sheep outfitted with transmitters.
a "predator" was circling the flock and the researchers found that the sheep tended to shove the weaker ones to the outer fringes and the stronger ones went to the center.
real nice.... boy, i could have used that while i was giving public talks!
Interesting stillin. Bolindie good quotes. Good comments.
I had a goat for a weed eater. A friend gave her to me and she came with her baby.
Man was she protective of her little one. She actually butted me in the butt as I walked to my car. So I started to run to my car . She would junp on the hood scratch it up and glare at me until I stated the engion.
Sounds like in the animal world there are much better mothers than sheep. Wolves make better parents with the pack. Elephants too.
I always thought this parrable was a little weird, But it supports the need of a sheperd, and thats the crux of the matter. Were too stupid. Tell me what to do...help!
As a kid I studied wolves, thought I would rather be a wolf than a sheep. Wolves always got a bad rap.
we all have somebody we are crazy about that almost everybody can't stand.. if you mention their name your companions give you that "look" (ya know the one, like you just got caught picking your nose!).
i was thinking about this the other day.
i was truly curious if i'm mental or if everybody has a guilty pleasure list like i do.. i'm just going to assume we all do until you set me straight.. if you attach a photo and short explanation about why you like these pariahs it will be more meaningful.. .
I agree too brizzy,
When Alan's charecter says in "Sence and Sensability" , when Marianne is sick... "Give me something to do , or I shall go mad"
I turn to butter.
I love to see a movie or hear a story were unrequited love works out.

Guilty and a little embarassing... I like reading The Daily Mail. God please dont tell . I am a PBS member, they might kick me out.
I mostly look at the photos. I like to see what poeple are wearing, and some of the articals go a little further than a US version. Some of the Health tips are crazy, but some are good. But they are getting a little to Kardashian and I cant handle them.
THis coming from a person, that while checking out at the grocery store, wont even dare glance at a rag mag.
OH well, maybe it's like porn. its different if your not buying it, and no one is watching.
i have just heard that s friend from an entirely different meaasge board died this evening after a brief spell in a hospice.. she was very proud of being welsh and of the language.
she was firm in her traditional welsh chapel faith and i'm sure it helped her at the end.. cysga'n dawel, cariad.
cwsg maen hedd, gwen fach, i'r golau.
I'm very sorry for your lose of a very close friend.
Something I read a while ago when my brother died,, it's a Buhdist saying.
"A man stays alive as long as he is remembered."
I make a point to remember all the funny , silly things about him.
It helps. For me it keeps him 'alive'
what do you do for fun?
i like r/c planes.
i have friends who collect everything from hot wheels to comics to coins.
I like to collect Oaxca MX animal carvings. Old mixing bowls and vases from early CA.
Copper vases from the arts and crafts movement. Stamps. Books.
Old Pawn Indian Jewelry.
Old beads....lots of beads from crappy jewelry that people toss out..
i've spent the afternoon at the computer, working and watching the lenticular clouds on the mountain outside my window.
there have been several, they form and then drift southward.
the one that's out there now is a bright pink-orange because of the sunset.
It does sound beautiful and relaxing.
I have tried to paint these beautiful clouds in water colour. But it seemed like an exsaggeration of colour.
You have to be there.
Tonight's a full moon, I'm thinking. ?
